The NE and MA Regions of the Puppeteers of America invite you to our first PUPPET HOMECOMING. This potlatch style event is September 7-9, 2012 at Ramapo for Children in Rhinebeck, NY. (Accessible to all, this picturesque camp will provide housing, theatre and workshop space, all meals and even boating and swimming). Bring your whole family for this affordable puppetry reunion.

Each of the guilds in the NE and MA Regions has a role in coordinating the event.Proposals for performers are no longer being accepted. Workshops proposals should go to Judith O’Hare – jaohare@gmail.com. Please consider sharing a performance at potpourri, or bringing puppets from our exhibit! We are seeking volunteers to help on site during the weekend (email Sheila Harris to join the site crew, tellingtimes@roadrunner.com.

You are invited to bring items to sell, to perform during potpourri, to learn as much as you can at workshops, and to reconnect with puppeteers near and far. In this informal community setting.
The event is intended to be an affordable collaboration. No presenters are paid, and costs are low. Registration is $42.00 for the weekend. Fees are $79.00 per night for adults and $38.50 per night for children. All meals are included. While Ramapo does not offer camping, there are affordable day rates, and camping or motels nearby.
The events begin on Friday evening with dinner and performances, Saturday includes workshops in the morning, afternoon puppet swap, where anyone can sell their wares, afternoon and evening performances and a puppet potpourri open to all participants. Sunday there will be more workshops and performances, a lunch and final meeting and performance. Come, partake, share, and celebrate our incredible P of A community. Each guild has taken on a role in coordinating the event, find out what your guild is doing!
