2012 Regional Puppetry Festival, West Liberty, M’El Reum’s Ventriloquism Workshop
The community of puppeteers is diverse. Performers, directors, teachers, and artists all bring skills that enrich the Puppeteers of America network. Those interested in expanding their puppetry skills often benefit from workshops, festivals, residencies, classes and hands-on training. Some of the resources are performance based, while others focus on craftsmanship or storytelling, but they all seek to enrich puppetry as an art form. Professional development opportunities increase as theater companies, Universities, and individual artists share their techniques for success.
